| Building in Luanda, 1960's |
I was
fortunate enough to go and live in Luanda, Angola, in 1960 for 3 years. It was a magical
experience at 7 years of age. It was a privilege to see that part of Africa
before it was destroyed by civil war. However it was a shame to see the
beautiful people who called Angola home, and who lived in peace before, torn
apart by all the infighting. Three main factions were competing for power, and
in the end no-one won!
